Stories of Hope: Local Impact Through SoRRI Initiatives

Across Somalia, real change is being led by everyday heroes—mothers, youth, and local leaders—supported by SoRRI’s programs. From rebuilding livelihoods to protecting children, each story reveals the resilience of Somali communities and the impact of collective action.

In one of our partner villages, two young girls who had dropped out of school due to conflict were able to return, thanks to our back-to-school campaign and psychosocial support. Their journey reflects thousands more finding safety, dignity, and hope.
